For the past couple of months we’ve been handpicking some very special people and products to join us for this exciting new event – a popular concept overseas that is set to become a trend in this country too. A first in South Africa, our new Baby & Kids Lifestyle Market will be launching at the Observatory Recreation Centre on Saturday 17th December from 9am-2pm – just in time for Christmas! Thereafter it will be happening on the first Saturday of every month from Sat 4 Feb 2012 onwards – with additional markets to be held at venues all around the Peninsula from 2012 as well. What’s it all about? A regular family-friendly, wellness & eco-oriented baby and kid’s lifestyle market featuring stalls offering quality new and pre-loved items, wholesome and organic food, a variety of activities and entertainment for children, plus talks and special offers for parents, for example: • bespoke and handcrafted designer clothing, toys and décor for babies and children • pre-loved baby and kids clothing, toys, books and equipment • a variety of exhibitors featuring family-oriented, products and services • a great selection of wholesome food/drink and health/wellness vendors • activities and entertainment for the whole family • lifestyle and parenting talks, special offers and freebies for moms & dads Highlights for children will include: fun displays and performances, puppet shows, art & craft workshops, play areas featuring DreamWeaver jungle gyms, jumping castle, pony rides, petting zoo, cupcake decorating, sand art, face painter, balloons, activity area and much more. Highlights for mums & dads/grannies & grandpas: A relaxed, friendly and informative event that will also promote/highlight healthier ways to live by offering regular talks by experts, as well as films and displays on how to grow happier, healthier families. Anyone wishing to sell or promote their family-oriented products and services is invited to apply for a stall or advertise at the event. The Baby & Kids Lifestyle Market will provide vendors with the perfect opportunity to promote their brands to a niche and captive target audience. Where?
